Where to Watch

Hyun Bin as Kim Joo Won

Hyun Bin as Kim Joo Won

Hyun Bin as Kim Joo Won

Hyun Bin plays a very arrogant and sophisticated CEO.  I would describe his character as one of those people one would call a “Jerk” He knows what he wants and he is not afraid to do anything to get it. Even though it seems like there is no flaw in his perfectionist image there actually is.

Hyun Bin played this character flawlessly. Do not worry if in the first episode you really dislike him because he is playing a very annoying character. One you would love to punch. But the more you get into the drama the more you fall in love with his character and realise he is just really a sensitive and sweet person, maybe because of the change that the lead female brings out of him.

Hyun Bin is really a very good actor. If you have never watched any of his drama’s I suggest you try Kim Sam soon, Winter Sonata and the World that they live in.

Ha Ji Won as Gil Ra Im

Ha Ji Won as Gil Ra Im

Ha Ji Won as Gil Ra Im

Ha Ji Won plays a cool stuntwomen Gil Ra Im. Gil Ra Im is very poor but very humble. Even though Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is always criticizing her body many of the actresses she works with are very jealous of her especially her skill and her beauty. She loves the singer Oska musically and also in some ways has a fan crush on him. She dislikes Kim Joo Won especially his arrogant behaviour. In some ways I would also say she is very innocent sometimes. She does not really know the power of her own female charms.

I have never really watched Ha Ji Won in any dramas or anything for that matter. After I finished the drama I was completely charmed by her. I believe it was to do with the character she was portraying and how well she acting throughout the whole series. I honestly don’t think anyone could have played her character more better.

Yoon Sang Hyun as Choi Woo Young/Oska

Yoon Sang Hyun as Choi Woo Young/Oska

Yoon Sang Hyun as Choi Woo Young/Oska

Yoon Sang Hyun plays Oska, a popular Korean Hallyu star who is quite the womaniser and immature. He is also Kim Joo Won’s cousin brother. They dont seem to really get along so well maybe because of Kim Joo Won’s personality.

I liked Oska. I think as a side character he did shine pretty well. His acting is really very good and his very likeable as a character. Just like his cousin he does have a very sensitive side.

Yoon Sang Hyun has a good chemistry with Kim Sa Rang (Yoon Seul) so they made quite a cute couple. I also liked his chemistry with Ha Ji Won becase it certain scenes they were very good together.  They were always messing around very much like siblings. I also his chemistry with Lee Jong Suk who played Han Tae Ssun. Very cute gay crush style chemistry xP

I have watched Yoon Sang Hyun in only one other drama. ” Take care of the young lady” where he acted pretty well with beautiful Yoon Eun Hye.

Kim Sa Rang as Yoon Seul

Kim Sa Rang as Yoon Seul

Kim Sa Rang as Yoon Seul

Kim Sa Rang played Oska’s old flame Yoon Seul. In some ways she is very much like Hyun Bin’s character. It takes time to like her because when I first started watching the drama she came across as a gold digger and really very annoying.

As she starts to come out of her shell and starts to show her real personality you can see that she is just a girl who was just doing things because of her past. I surprisingly ended up liking her quite a lot.  She had quite a lot of class and sophistication. Her character also had quite crafty side.

Kim Sa Rang acted very well in this drama but as I have not seen any of her other dramas I cannot compare. That saying I don’t really think I am going to forget her or any of the people who acted in this drama due to the fact that in their own way they were all very charming and memorable.

  • Lee Philip as Im Jong Soo ( Martial arts director, very handsome and likeable. I enjoyed watching him)
  • Lee Jong Suk as Han Tae Ssun (singer, Adorable but arrogant )
  • Yoo In Na as Im Ah Young ( Gil Ra Im’s Best Friend )
  • Kim Ji Sook as Moon Yeon Hong
  • Park Joon Geum as Moon Boon Hong ( Kim Joo Wons Mother)
  • Kim Sung Oh (김성오) as Kim Sung Woo (Joo Won’s secretary)
  • Choi Yoon So as Kim Hee Won (Joo Won’s sister)

This drama was full of delightful surprises and I have never been so pleasantly surprised as well. I was not expecting it to blow me away especially based on how dull the first episodes was because personally I did not fall in love with this drama from the first episode, its when it really kicked off, about episode 3-4 that I started to find it extremely entertaining and fell in love with it I started to anticipate  every week when I could watch this drama.

There are certain aspects of this drama that make it quite different for me. Its not predictable. For one thing I really kept getting surprised at every single episode. Most of the episodes were  cliffhangers. So they know how to keep the viewers glued to the screen especially when something dramatic happened and so many secrets came out every single few episodes. There was such twists! Just when you think nothing else could happen, BAM! somthing happens and your just sitting there thinking WTH Just happened!? It was pure entertainment and so exciting!

The other aspect of this drama that I think made it different was the storyline. I really don’t think the elements of  body switching have ever been wrote in a Korean drama. Not the ones I have seen anyway and as a person who really enjoys Gender Bender style dramas, I immensely enjoyed this one because it made the drama really, really funny. I don’t think any other drama has made me laugh so much that I nearly choked doing it.

The actors were incredible and am hoping they win lots of awards because they were all so fantastic. The chemistry between the actors and the realistic acting was full stars. I was not expecting to like the minor character because usually I concentrate more on the main ones but I ended up loving them and enjoying the moments they came on screen as well. All the acting from the lead to even the people who were not so important made this drama good. I also liked how the ending was not really so much of a cliché. I had lots of endings in my head and at times they were not even good endings. The ending of this drama was very realistic in a way. It was not one of those rainbows and sunshine’s but I was happy with it.

Overall I do believe this has been really fun to watch.  This was the new drama to watch this season and am sad it has finished. If you want a different style storyline which is entertaining, funny and dramatic then I suggest you watch this. I don’t think anyone can hate this drama. I could tell you so many moments and my favourite parts that I enjoyed in this drama but I really don’t want to spoil it for anyone. All I can do is suggest you all to watch it. It was really a great drama.
